SlabBoard

Add the estimate form to your website

Put SlabBoard's free-estimate form on your website so homeowners get a ballpark price and land in your Leads list right away.

The estimate form is a short public page where a homeowner tells you about the project and sees a ballpark price on the spot. Each request becomes a new lead in SlabBoard, so you can call back while the customer is still shopping.

Before you start

  • The form needs the Leads & CRM feature (every plan) and an active account.
  • The ballpark price comes from your Materials & colors. Only active materials with a Price / sq ft count. See Set up your price book and materials.

The form isn't linked from the office app yet. Its address is your customer-link address plus /w/ and your shop's short name (the part after /app/ when you're logged in, for example demo-granite). The quickest way to get it right:

  1. Open any quote and click … → Open customer view.
  2. Copy the address of the page that opens. It ends in /q/ followed by a long code.
  3. Replace q/ and the long code with w/your-shop. For example, …/q/9376a8Jc… becomes …/w/demo-granite.
  4. Open the new address to check that the form loads.

Share this link in your Google Business profile, on social media or in emails.

Tip: Stuck? Contact support and we'll send you the exact link and embed code.

Embed it on your website

Add /embed.js to the end of your form link and paste it into your site as a script tag, where you want the form to show (most site builders have an "HTML" or "Embed code" block):

<script src="YOUR-FORM-LINK/embed.js"></script>

The form appears at full width, right where you pasted the code.

What the homeowner sees

A thank-you message and a ballpark box such as "Ballpark for 45 sq ft of Quartz: $2,475 – $3,600". The range is the square footage times your cheapest and your most expensive active material of that type. A note says the final price depends on exact measurements, edges, sinks and cutouts.

What you get

  • A new lead in Sales → Leads with status New, source Website, the estimated sq ft and value (sq ft × the middle of the range) and a follow-up due one hour later.
  • An in-app notification, "New website lead: {name}", for active Owners, Admins and Sales users.

Good to know: There is no email or text message for new web leads. Watch the bell icon and the New badge on Sales → Leads.

Good to know: The project type from the web form shows as plain text on the lead. If you edit the lead, the Project type box may look empty. Pick the closest option before saving.

The form has spam protection built in and limits how often one visitor can submit.
